It's the most wonderful time of the year

Ah, fall. The leaves are changing. The weather is slowly turning cooler. And, the fall TV season finally begins!

I have never claimed to be a patient person. I have always found it difficult to wait four whole months from May to September for new episodes to return of my favorite shows. And after four months, I usually find myself disappointed when the new episodes finally arrive. This year proves to be no different.

The Office
So far, I have not been too impressed. I am not happy that Jim is at another branch. I know he is coming back to Scranton soon, but come on! Pam is boring without Jim to flirt with, and Dwight is not as funny when he's not reacting to Jim's pranks on him. I think that once Jim gets back to Scranton, things will be better. I am enjoying Ed Helms at the Stamford branch though.

Gilmore Girls
I was prepared to throughougly hate the season premiere. Season 6 mostly sucked, and the creators of the show are gone. Since I prepared myself for the show to suck, it was not great, but also not as bad as I had anticipated. The first episode was better than most of season 6, and fighting between Luke and Lorelai could be interesting. My game plan is to not expect anything from the season, therefore diminishing disappointment.

Grey's Anatomy
Meredith/Ellen Pompeo continues to be annoying.
So far...too much sap, but still enjoyable.

Tomorrow..the show I have been anticipating the most-Lost. And, I'm sure I will be in for another season of frustration.

Also...can anyone answer a question about Project Runway for me? Last week, the last 4 contestants were going to design a runway show in September. But, this week it is a reunion show. Huh? Is there not a remaining contestant? Allie already tried to explain it to me, but I'm still mighty confused.

  • I firmly believe that Gray's Anatomy is written by a co-dependent, horribly neurotic woman with lots of cats. No human male would want to date Meredith after one brush with her squinty lollipop head and infuriating narcissism, nevermind two seemingly intelligent ones like Derek and Finn. I would also seriously doubt the judgement of any doctor who found it desirable to have that lolloping drip Izzy as a friend.

I only watch it for Dr. Bailey (who I wish I could be like at work).
