What the Puck?


Tonight I'm going to a Boston Bruins game with some coworkers. I have never been to a hockey game, nor do I really know anything about the sport. Having lived with an avid hockey fan in London for four months, I am hoping that her enthusiasm will spread to me tonight. We shall see.

    I certainly hope my enthusiasm spreads to you tonight! I will make you love hockey if it kills me!! You must be excited, for the Bruins finally signed Nick Boynton AND Joe Thornton comes back tonight! Plus you can make fun of a man who's name appears to be Satan. Hah. It is not possible to not have fun at a hockey game, but if for some bizarre reason you get bored, you can always go get a beer.

  • Ok, so I had a momentary mental lapse and forgot that Satan no longer plays for Buffalo. But still. You can make fun of them anyway. Cause really, who's a Sabres fan?

  • plus it is super cool the way that the puck trails pink lines. you won't need to drink!

    i think the last hockey game i went to was with that jewish youth group i was in 8th grade. they left jason and me at 7-11 on the way back at about midnight. dad had to come pick us up in hillandale at midnight. he was not pleased.
